About
I am Alan Dayley, Certified Scrum Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster and Agile software development proponent. After more than 20 years of experience as a software engineer, I have seen lots of failures and successes. Most of my career I have been doing embedded software in innovative projects.
When I first learned about Scrum and Agile development practices, it rang a bell with me. It seemed to be as advertised: The collection of “common sense” engineering and development methods that good developers do anyway. But here they are, documented and structured so that their benefits can be realized without first requiring a decade of experience. More about how I came to discover and apply agile principles is in the first post of this blog.
Now I seek ways to continue my journey of improvement and to help others along the way. If I can help you, please just ask!
